New web site and Blog
This is the first entry for the new SOLV / George Mahoney BLOG.
I’m hoping this will be a more effective way of supplementing my web
site with more current information about new projects, prototyping, and teaching at MCAD. The new site is up and running well.
The first new prototype is the David Chair/prototype #1,a low profile mono wood shell upholstered in vinyl billboard over high density foam. The frame is a lightweight tubular steel. The lounge chair is low, generously sized with out feeling or looking too large nor over stuffed. It’s design is and very comfortable. The revised prototype will have a modified frame and shell. The learning curve for the billboard is steep but progressing well and looks great.
